  • Threading tool box is included in CUTPRO and delivered to Temsa Tenaris and Sandvik Coromant, CANRIMT partners.
  • Integrated Virtual – real time process monitoring and control: Hyundai WIA gave a contract to UBC ($450K) and we are teaching the infrastructure set up for Siemens 840D. Hyundai licensed AppsPro (our kernel to implement the real time system)
  • Ultrasonic Vibration Assisted Tool holder is filed as an invention to UBC ILO.
  • In cooperation with McMaster, UBC visited Honda Canada, Vertex Precision, Mersen in Ontario to demonstrate virtual machining technology.
  • UBC MAL demonstrated virtual machining technology to Modern Engineering Company and showed 26% productivity increase.
